Do you really know the value of time?
Time doesn’t stop for anyone. It goes really fast. And we don’t value it like we should.
Think about how you act before you go on vacation. Do you spend a lot of time hurrying around at the last minute trying to get things done and tying up loose ends? You probably check your bank accounts, make sure someone is taking care of your mail, and make sure there are no dirty dishes in your sink, right?
Before you leave for vacation is a hurried time because you have a focus and a marker. Knowing that you’re leaving gives you a sense of urgency. You don’t waste time because you have a purpose.
But we don’t think like that normally. We waste time. We think we always have time—until we don’t.
But if you’re going to live the good life God has for you, you have to have a proper perspective of time.
Time is valuable. It can never be recovered.
This is YOUR time. This is YOUR life.
Have you ever noticed how the Bible says, “In the time of (person)”? Well, now the books are being written, and they say, “In the time of (YOUR name).”
God determined when you would be born and where. He has a specific destiny for you—a specific race for you to run; an assignment; a purpose—and He’s very serious about it. He’s counting on you to run your race and win.
You get just one life to live. You want to make a difference. You want your life to count. But how? How can you make sure you’re making the most of the time you have? How can you make sure you’re running the race God has designed for you, and winning?
